I grew up in Auburn, MA. I graduated from Auburn High School in '92 , Cornell University in '96, and Suffolk Law in 2000. I'm married to Dennis Keeler who is a Marshfield native and an MHS graduate of the class of '96. We have 4 children: Max (a freshman at UMaine), Shane (a senior at MHS), Nolan (a sophomore at MHS) and Violet (a 4th grade student at Governor Winslow). We have a black lab named Juno, 2 cats and a tortoise. My favorite hobby is coaching my kids in sports, especially soccer :) I also enjoy singing and playing the piano.
How did you get involved in MEF?
My dear friend Cathy Giberti reached out to me as she thought I would be a good fit for MEF with my background and involvement with 4 children in the school system. Her husband John Giberti was President of MEF at the time.
What is your role/responsibilities?
I am currently a board member.
What do you like about being involved in MEF?
It's rewarding to see the grants we fund in motion in our schools. I also enjoy seeing our community come together at the fundraisers in support of our students.
What has been the highlight of your involvement with MEF?
I loved going into my daughter Violet's music class at Governor Winslow and watching the kids use the ukeleles that MEF funded.
What is your favorite memory from your K-12 education?
My favorite memory was playing taps on my trumpet for our annual Memorial day performance.
