-
Rising Voices: Every Voice Has a Story – Literature in every K-5 classroom across the district to educate more deeply around diversity while broadening the perspectives of our students. Included in the literature will be educational materials for the teachers themselves.
-
Digital Microscopes – Twenty-four (24) digital microscopes for the Marshfield High School (MHS) in memory of Paul Mandeville, a former MHS graduate (class of 1972) and long-time believer that STEM builds character in young people. These microscopes feature cutting-edge technology for capturing and sharing high resolution images and video of specimens under a wide magnification range using laptop.
-
Universal Reads – A grant going to Furnace Brook Middle School (FBMS) to fund popular print books and One Book One School choices in non-English languages that would socially, emotionally, and scholastically support and benefit the English Language Learner (ELL) population.
-
Growing and Glowing – Funding this grant will enable FBMS to better utilize their Fitness Room and incorporate more yoga and mindfulness practices for both students and staff. This initiative will align physical education goals with CASEL core competencies of self-management, self-awareness, and social awareness, which helps to support students’ social, emotional, and physical development.
-
Explore-Wonder-Solve – A makerspace at Eames Way School to increase student engagement by connecting hands-on, project-based, and inquiry-based STEAM learning experiences through the use of relevant, challenging, and high-quality curricula.

-
A SPOT of Excitement – Funding for this grant will go to the 1st grade classrooms at Governor Winslow School to create a Calm Corner. The Calm Corner will feature an enhancement of texts, including teacher guides, and sensory objects and materials to better support social emotional learning.
-
Guitar Program Launch Materials – This grant will provide seed money to get the guitar program at MHS up and running. The grant will be used to purchase twenty (20) Yamaha acoustic guitars, strings, and a storage cart.
-
Drama Drills – This grant will be awarded to the MHS drama department to replace current power drills in the theater shop. These replacement drills will allow students to build larger than life art projects which ultimately become the sets for theater productions.
