Jennifer Arnold

Rachel Babcock
Rachel has lived in Marshfield since 2005. She received a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Rochester and a Master’s of Arts in Secondary English Education from Boston University. She spent 16 years as a middle and high school English teacher & Literacy Specialist, mostly in Plymouth. She now focuses on dropout prevention and reengagement as the Coordinator of Alternative Programs for Plymouth Public Schools. Rachel is a former President of the Eames Way School PTO and was a member of the New MHS campaign team. She and her husband, Leigh Braunstein, have two children, one at South River and one at FBMS.

Brigid Boyd (non-voting member) Member, Marshfield School Committee
Brigid has lived in Marshfield since 1997.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from College of the Holy Cross.  Brigid is currently Vice President of Communications at United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley and has also previously worked at the Massachusetts State House in the State Senate.  She has three children who currently attend Marshfield High School, Furnace Brook Middle School and Eames Way Elementary School.

 

Elizabeth Burns
Elizabeth has been a resident of Marshfield since 2003. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education/History from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  She is currently (Administration,  Jenkins Elementary School) for Scituate Public Schools and has previously worked for RR Donnelley and the Marriott Corporation.  Elizabeth served on numerous boards and committees in the Marshfield public schools(including PTO president, School Council, and Superintendent/Principal search committees) and is active in athletic boosters for lacrosse and hockey here in Marshfield.  Elizabeth and her husband, Shawn, have two children in the Marshfield public school system. The oldest is currently at Marshfield High School.

Sean Costello
Sean Costello is a lifelong resident of Marshfield and a 2010 graduate of Marshfield High School. He was elected to the Marshfield School Committee in 2015, and currently serves as Chairman. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & International Studies from Stonehill College. He works at the Massachusetts State House as a Legislative Director in the House of Representatives. Sean volunteers as a member of the Management Team for the Massachusetts Youth & Government program, and is also a board member for Matty K’s 7 Sea’s Playground committee and Discover Quincy. He interned in Washington DC for United States Congressman Bill Keating, and is a veteran of many local and statewide political campaigns, including serving as Secretary for the New MHS campaign committee.

 

Rosemary Cullivan
Rosemary has been a Marshfield resident since 1996. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Bentley University. Rosemary spent most of her career at Xerox Corporation, and is currently at Lexmark International where she currently works as an Executive Account Manager. Rosemary has spent many years on the Martinson Elementary School Council and the PTO. She is also a member of Saint Christine’s Parish and a member of their finance and social committee. Rosemary and her husband, Kevin, have three children in the Marshfield school system.

 

Rick Faubert
Rick has been a resident of Marshfield since 2002. He is an executive search consultant with True Search in Cambridge. Rick received his B.A. from Middlebury College and his M.B.A. from The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. After graduating from college, Rick spent three years as a physics teacher at The Delbarton School in New Jersey. He is a coach and former administrator for Marshfield Youth Soccer and was a member of the NewMHS campaign team. As a member of the Middlebury College Alumni Association, Rick conducts interviews for the admissions office. Rick and his wife, Wendy, have four children in the Marshfield public school system. The oldest is currently at Marshfield  High School and the younger three are at Furnace Brook Middle School.

 

Marie Gagliard
Marie has been a resident of Marshfield since 1998.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Bentley University and currently works as a Controller for Eyesaver International, Inc.   Marie has served  as treasurer for the Eames Way PTO and Clift Rodgers Library for many years.  Marie and her husband, Joe, have one child at Marshfield High School and two children in college who have gone through the Marshfield school system.

 

John Giberti
John has been a Marshfield resident since 2005. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Providence College. John is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Regiment Capital Advisors, LP, aninvestment management firm focused on managing fixed income credit-related strategies. John and his wife Cathy have two children who attend Furnace Brook Middle School and Eames Way Elementary School.

Marie Kurmin
Marie has been living in Marshfield since 1991.  She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing.  She was a buyer for Jordan Marsh and Decelle until she started raising her children.  Since 1992 has owned Kurmin Kreations, a custom window treatment and home furnishings business serving New England interior designers and retail clients.  She has been a leader in Parent Teacher Organizations, served on the NewMHS committee, the District Improvement Plan committee and and various leader search committees until her youngest of three children graduated from Marshfield High School in 2016.  She is currently on the MHS school council, the steering committee for Grad Nite Live and Marshfield FACTS.

 

Marti Morrison
I have been a resident of Marshfield since 1980.  I received a BS in Nursing from the University of Maine and a Master’s Degree in Administration from Boston University.  After practicing many years in Boston hospitals, I settled into full-time volunteering in Marshfield, primarily in the school system.  After serving on the School Committee for 12 years, I became a member of the board of the MEF.  My husband, Don, and I raised 3 children here.

 

Mathew Parent
Matt has been a resident of Marshfield since 2004. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1992 with a BA in Graphic Design and minor in Communications. He has been working as a Marketing Communications professional since 1994. During that time he has also started a Coffee/Sandwich shop in Acton, MA (Blackbird Cafe) and an online Outdoor Structure/furniture store (Parent Outdoor). He is married and has two kids in the Marshfield Public School system.

 

Ann Pollard
Ann is the youngest of ten and grew up in Marshfield.  Through an innovative aviation program at Marshfield High School, Ann got a head start in the aviation industry and began working at the Marshfield Airport when she was sixteen.  She earned her private pilot’s license before her driver’s license and went on to pursue a diverse career in aviation, following in the footsteps of her father and two of her brothers.  Ann has been a volunteer for the Marshfield Emergency Management Agency for many years and is also involved in many local charities and organizations.  She was co-chair of the NewMHS campaign team and currently serves as a community representative on the Daniel Webster School Council.

 

Gregg Reilly
Gregg has been a resident of Marshfield since 2000. He has been teaching high school mathematics for the past 31 years at public high schools in Easthampton, Longmeadow, and Scituate, and currently teaches at Milton Academy . Gregg received a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and an M.S.T. from the University of New Hampshire, Durham. He has coached youth soccer and baseball teams in town. Gregg and his wife, Patricia, have two children who have attended Marshfield’s excellent schools
